Luis Jesús Gómez Bedoya was born in Paris in July 1967. He was trained at the Santander Hospitality School as well as the Santiago de Compostela Advanced School.
After working for over 3 years at different restaurants along the Mediterranean coast, he was appointed head chef at Huerto del Cura Hotel kitchen in 1989.
His training has continued during several CDT courses on vacuum cooking, confectionery for restaurants, kitchen management, IT applications as well as taking part in various stages held by some of the most celebrated chefs in Spain.
